What is required for a teacher?
The obvious is you must be a card maker and/or scrapbooker and know scrapbooking products well and love people. Teaching experience would be a preference but not necessary. Cash register experience would be an asset but would provide training.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
What do I need to do?
Drop off samples of your work that relate to the class you are interested in and write a short note telling us if you have taught anywhere, what you have taught and why you would like to teach. Paper Trails will then review the samples and applications and decide what will work and what would not. The more ideas we get the better classes we can offer. If you have a project that isn’t listed above please feel free to present it to us for review and we’ll see if we can offer it as a class.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
How much do I get paid and what are the hours?
As a teacher for Paper Trails you will be compensated with an in-store credit of $40 weather your class has 6 students or 12 students. Classes start at 7pm and finish at 8:45pm (clean up time is 8:45-9:00) Classes are scheduled on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday evenings and some Saturdays. Students usually like to shop after class for a few minutes so training on the cash register will be provided.
